Why on earth would you put Chicago vs Pittsburgh at 8ET? Late start for 2 teams in the Eastern Time Zone on opening day. SMH to these people who make the schedule.

Super early observation; Bedard isn't explosive enough to ever be like McDavid, I see him more like Matthews.

Bedard's giving me very early McDavid vibes without the skating as lets be real nobody yet has shown that level besides a figure skater.

Funny enough McDavid took so many years to get good at faceoffs. Got to over 50% just 2 years ago

I think as the games go by and he gets more comfortable he will get better

Bad? No way but he’s not going to be in any skating competitions. He’s going to win positional battles to find space and with the quick release he has he’s going to score a lot of goals.

It's more that his average skating is noticeably worse than all of his other star talents

I'm seeing him get out skated on almost every play when he has the puck. He's lost countless dump ins, he's just slow lol
