Hawks don't need or want Mantha. The price tag it'll cost to dump him is more than your team or fanbase is willing to pay.

I've been vocal previously that I'd take that BOS 2025 2nd round pick. I'd personally still do that, but I'm not in charge. One would have to think if that's all it took...it would have happened already.

I've read many Caps fans scoff at a 2nd to dump him though but that is the going rate to dump that kind of contract.

Yes it's probably fair price for dumping the contract, but I still don't think Caps are willing to pay it.

I’m also not in charge but I would need an offer that knocks my socks off to even consider Mantha. Hopefully the mental coach he hired (I believe) will help him straighten out his career.

I'm not many caps fans, I am totally okay with using a second round pick to offload Mantha...I am actually aware that he currently holds no value and if we were to trade him (with no retention) its going to cost us. But I don't think GMBM will want to do that.

An aforementioned 2nd works for me, otherwise one of Chesley or Iorio (former 2nd RHD) would help fill the glaring hole of RHD prospects for the Hawks.
