How is Matthews overrated?? Marner I could see I guess but Matthews is NOT overrated lol

Marners numbers are a lot more consistent compared to matthews I have very unpopular opinion when it comes hughes but he isn’t that complete defensemen defensively in my opinion

If anything Quinn Hughes is underrated. People still think he can’t play defense when in reality he’s above average defensively while being a near PPG

Matthews, Spurgeon, Hellebuyck, Meier, and Jones aren’t overrated either

Draisaitl should be on here over Ekholm. Playing with McDavid inflates Draisaitl's numbers. He's not a top 5 centre let alone the 2nd best player in the game like your crew love to say.

IMO many of these players aren't "overrated" but certainly overpaid for what they accomplish according to their contracts.

That's an opinion, not fact.

Nobody is saying he isn't good, but if you're regarded as a top three goal scorer of all time by leafs fans and you finish 14th in the league in goals, that makes you overrated in my books.

I'd put either Roslovic or Peeke as the most overrated Jacket. People have weirdly high opinions of both players compared to what they accomplish. Gaudreau's rep has completely gone to hell since he became a Jacket, but he's still generating a lot of offense considering how little he had to work with last year.

Somehow McDavid doesn't inflate Draisaitl's numbers it's all Draisaitl
