No one in the east has gotten past the top team in the Atlantic for 5 years. Why has TO not found success? They've had to play in the hardest division. Washington took a while to get past Pittsburgh but then they did. TO's time is coming.

The metro has lost to the Atlantic 5 straight years. Those teams have had factually less success against the Atlantic than the leafs have had in the past 5 years. That's a pretty big reason why TO has not found success. Their time is coming. Tampa and Boston are taking steps back, TO should move forward.

I am just patient. The leafs lost to some really good teams, the same teams no one from the Metro has been able to beat either. So to say the way someone like Carolina does it is better because they have gone to the 3rd round only to get swept by the same team we lost to is just being proud of losing later, rhet didn't win anything either.
