That's kind of what I figured but thought I'd do something different than Pesce and Jarvis like I've seen so much. I think it could be done but I don't know what package Canes fans find acceptable that won't be out to lunch.

I really want Zadorov, he fits exactly what we need. I went with Lily because the alternative is Timmins and an earlier round pick which still leaves Lily pushed down the depth chart. So I figure Lily moving gives him a genuine opportunity somewhere else in spite of the fact I wish they would just play and develop him in Toronto - but they don't seem intent on ever doing that.

Lilly is worth more though

I'm not sure its a fit anymore, especially if the Canes are hellbent on getting Karlsson. I think Pesce moves somewhere for futures that are packaged to get EK.

That's because Keefe is an fool of a coach. He would rather play Holl than a young defenseman with a all round game last year. Lilly imo is a top 4 guy if given the ice-time.

I would agree, he's just not going to get it in Toronto unfortunately by the looks of it. I'd love to be wrong though. I'd still gladly take Zadorov if we had Liljgren in the lineup.
