Canucks pass. Kuz is only 1 year older... similar production and far cheaper plus giving up then 11th overall. No chance.

Palat is a good player, but there is a reason why the NJD teams I see people proposing always put him on the 3rd line. Bruins don't want his $6m contract this year with their cap crunch, nor in future years as his production likely drops.

Reilly Walsh is waiver bait next season

Vancouver doesn't touch that deal with a 10 foot pole. A team in cap troubles trading for a guy set to make $9 mil+ at the position they are backlogged while giving up their best winger and a lottery 1st in a stacked draft when they have one of the weakest prospect pools in the league. None of that makes any sense at all.

Why are the Devils trading Holtz+++ for a rental goalie?
Why are the Devils trading a 1st line RFA winger for an older 1st line winger with only two years of term?
Why are the Canucks trading a high pick for Meier when they clearly need to improve their prospect pool?
Why are the Sens trading DeBrincat for 50 cents on the dollar?
Why are the Ducks trading Terry that cheaply?
Why are the Kings trading Turcotte for a depth defenseman and a 4th line center?

I heard that all year. Also even if it's not Timo is going to cost 4 million more. Not worth the cap space or the pick.
