Oilers keep the NHL players that have the same cap as one Parayko. Even Krug retained and Parayko look like not very good long term contract....whihc is the reason you wanted them traded.

It's the only way they would take Krug here, it's not satire at all. We have 7 million LD have no room for this guy and he's injury prone, small, old, huge contract and we are giving up a stable dman that Yzerman liked so much he resigned for 2 years. Why would Detroit do this without the 10th pick?

I did not say that Detroit would do it. And I also know Detroit almost certainly will not entertain such ideas. The point is, in no, way, shape or form are the Blues paying a 1st to move Krug, let alone with 6M in retention attached. Obviously.

If Detroit won;t do it, just say no, they won't do it. Asking for some wildly outsized return just makes it two obvious no's. Take the shortcut, just say no. Like Nancy Reagan.

No hardly, Krug holds no value for us, We already have 11 LHD under contract. We don't need a smallish 5'9" Krug on our blueline.
