Please say you are kidding, Habs aren't trading Guhle or Dach for PLD and Gawanke is an AHL D man that adds little to no value especially when he has said he doesn't want to come back to the Jets, this effectively makes him a ufa and would be like the Habs adding Drouin.

Scheifele is a one year rental, No way in hell is Rob Blake giving up both Quinton Byfield and Brandt Clarke for Mark Scheifele the last thing LA needs is another Center.

Blake Wheeler has a 5 team trade list, he's not waiving for the dump in Chicago.

The only thing we agree on, Is that Connor Hellebuyck to Carolina makes the most sense.

Carolina trade is terrible. Schmidt is a 6M cap dump to a team that wants to be a contender. Jarvis and Kochetkov are both young and good. Hellebuyck to Carolina makes sense but not for this package.

MTL is not letting Guhle go. Dach is almost as unlikely. Kidney is the most likely to go in a package.

To get Dach, WPG would have to offer something like PLD and WPG's 1st or someone top 6.

I tried PLD and Kyle Connor for Dach and most MTL fans said no. I was a bit surprised.

I think most MTL fans think they are getting PLD for free. That would be a mistake.

Seriously, your Montreal trade is very close, and you correctly identified the possible objection to it in the trade box. You should know that several Montreal fans have offered Dvorak, Kidney and the Florida first in trades for DuBois, so that idea with the qualification is right on.

Los Angeles doesn't need centers, or any forwards, for that matter. (We have 14 of them under team control on the roster right now.) Moreover, the Kings wouldn't consider trading Byfield or Clarke, who are considered future franchise cornerstones. The only Jet in whom Los Angeles would have the slightest interest is Josh Morrissey, but he has a NMC and Winnipeg probably would have no interest in moving him.

I think it's more of a matter of timeline with regards to Dach and PLD + Conner. We are rebuilding and shedding salary adding 2 guys who are going to be making upwards of 14 mil combined doesn't fit what we are doing, I mean unless you want to take back Gally.

I don't think most fans on this site understand the inner workings of the NHL. GM's are often friends and even if they aren't they don't want to just screw eachother as a lot if fans think. The NHL is not a cutthroat business after all for proof look no further than the fact all teams profit share.
