No, the next Toronto GM isn't going to trade William Nylander for Ryan Pulock because Lou Lamoriello is going to laugh in his face. Seven seasons of a #1 RhD is worth a lot more than one season of Nylander, and that's without even considering that Pulock has an absolute NTC.

No need to get worked up over the imbalanced proposal in favor of the Leafs - after Jason Botterill becomes their GM, he'll trade Liljegren in exchange for Bryson, one of his former picks from the Buffalo tenure, and proclaim he improved the Leafs with a strong young defenseman. Buffalo shifted Krebs to the lower lines to teach him a grittier game, to see if they could turn him into the ideal third line center behind two studs in Cozens and Thompson. Being third man behind those two is not a slight on anyone. He needs to refine his passing a little bit, but he did start to show more toughness, which a Crafty center like he can be is still going to need in order to be successful.
