There's no chance Nemec is dealt for Hellebuyck, or any goalie that I can see, extension or not.
Besides, the Devils don't need to trade Nemec anywhere to 'go for it next season', internal development from their young guys currently on the roster may get them to the cup as soon as next year.

For me it's the Ty Smith for John Marino trade last summer, would never have foreseen that trade going down.

I'd think that Mesar and Kidney are the two fits. Kapanen could also be added in as extra, but Mesar and Kidney are the odd guys out in the Habs system. Very good prospects, but the no2 or 3 guys in their positions in the system.

Just can't see NJ trading Nemec for Helle, he's gotta be pretty close to untouchable and if they were to deal him I doubt it'd be for Helle with or without an extension.

Am guessing that Scheifele trade is a 3-way trade of sorts but the Isles don't have any need for Kuzy, they're pretty set at center.

That Dubois trade is probably close to what it'll be and it's pretty fair imo, Habs fans will whine about Roy's value but meh who cares, quite literally tons of guys light up the Q and don't transition to the NHL, he isn't as valuable as they think he is.

Personally, I wouldn't do it and prefer to keep Roy, but it's in the realm of reason.
