TOR’s pressing need next year is to find a long term solution at 2C. I’m more than comfortable having Tavares and Knies as the top 6 LW.

It’s literally Barbashev and Bertuzzi as FA targets. Both are going to get over payed with term.

I wouldn't say it's their most pressing need. I'd like to see it, and it will need to happen at some point, but the sudden notion that Matthews/Tavares as your 1-2 at C isn't good enough is crazy to me. They have time to address that.

To me you should explore but u could also start drafting

As rn Matthews 1c, Tavares 2c is a top C duo. JT's getting older but hes still a solid 2c in this league

But if we go explore route you could gamble on someone.

Like look at VGK they went out took a chance on Stepehson and now hes their 2c.

Seen Anaheim ACGM moving on from Lunderstrom maybe hes a target. 23 years old and is a nice 2-way C. Maybe there's something to explore here

All good, agree to disagree on that one. I look at Pavelski, Stamkos, and Giroux that have extended their careers by moving to the wing. Tavares never had good wheels but even more so know looks incredible slow.

TOR needs an injection of speed and youth into this roster and I hope they look at upgrading 2C role before a winger. But that’s me

Call me crazy, but I wouldn't mind buying low on Foegele. Really wanted him when Carolina was looking to move him and think he fits the bill for what Treliving might be looking for. Could be some big breakout potential for the guy. If not, his style of play is also helpful
