All I would argue is “how are you replacing this”?

I’m starting to come to the realization that I’d rather tread water till 2025. Re-sign AM and WN, don’t commit to any FA long term and wait till JT’s 11 million contract is off the books. Then build a balanced lineup.

IMO there is still no real cap space to do that, just window dressing.

I cannot explain it at all, zero reason really but I just have a sneaky feeling Treveling is going to trade Nylander tonight. Could be ok depending how they go about it, but tough shoes to fill if so.

Only way I'd be ok with it is if they take that money and go after a couple guys in the Toffoli/Arvidsson/etc situations where you get balanced production for cheap acquisition cost. We shall see
