Why wouldn't he be Spence has potential but Hanifin is proven 1st pair defenseman.

So we have no top line center now? I don't see how this helps the flames contend. If the goal is to rebuild then others need to leave before Lindholm.

I would rather give up Poitras than Harrison, but I think Bruins would do that, especially with the extension.

With Sutter gone the Flames are NOT trading Lindholm. The cap will rise 3M after next season so Lindy will absorb that and more with long term deal with Flames…Swedish group stays!

They were both in the top 15-30 in scoring if I'm not mistaken. Poitras was drafted as a C but has not stayed there and has been mainly playing wing, where Harrison is a big, heavy center with a cannon of a shot and skating skills to back it all up. Yes, Poitras may have a slightly higher offensive upside but I think Harrison has the more overall center game that the B's should be clamoring for right now. The knock on both of them is that they seem very disinterested in defensive responsibilities, but that can be fixed.

Poitras finished T-5th in OHL production and Harrison finished T-35th Poitras had 95pts to Harrison's 69pts this season. I honestly wouldn't trade either guy right, but that's just me.
