I got a feeling hes gonna have difficulty with the VGK 4th line
That lines been a menace all playoffs and Kolesar those 3 are tough SOB's
I thought the same thing with Jordan Staal entering the ECF but he put that concern to bed early. I agree with you though.
It's always tough to compare things at this point in the playoffs because you don't have to be the best at something on paper, but you've managed to be final 2 or final 4, so I mean is it actually as bad as we make it out to be? Or are the teams who were supposedly juggernauts actually that good because they got knocked out early? That's why it can be tough debating sometimes.
I'll say this though. You could argue Vegas' goaltending is the worst that Florida has faced, but it could be close to the Leafs. Obviously this season Boston and Carolina were both pretty far ahead of the pack in terms of their blueline on paper, and their defensive stats. But you have to give Vegas a lot of credit. While Vegas is absolutely loaded on paper at every position, their goaltending being shaky means, I think, that Vegas' defense and defensive game deserves even more credit.
Again, obviously you get this deep and the best teams deserve to be here. But I think this will be Florida's toughest challenge yet. Vegas' chemistry and puck movement was something to behold against Dallas, and the level they played at in that regard was much higher than any of the three teams Florida faced so far. And Vegas has protected the house much better than Boston, Toronto or Carolina.
It's so hard for me to call. Will Adin Hill still hold up? How world beating will Bobrovsky be? Will Florida's offensive depth be an issue?
Both Vegas and Florida have been elite on the road, whether it's in the regular season or playoffs. I think it goes 6-7 games no question.
