Really? Boeser is a great goal scorer
Boeser is a solid 20 goal, 50 point player with the potential to be a 30 goal, 70 point player if he can stay healthy and put all the pieces together. However, he doesn't hold this kind of value. Chicago's 1st in 2024 is guaranteed to be a lottery selection. Will almost certainly be a top 10 pick, with a pretty good chance it's a top 5 pick. That alone is a really valuable piece, but you're also adding on 2 seconds, one of which is pick 35 in an extremely deep draft class. That's a 1st that's pretty much guaranteed top 10, plus an early 2nd and a late 2nd.
If Boeser gets moved out of Vancouver, it's because of their cap situation. Minnesota had the same situation with Fiala last year, having to move him due to their cap situation. He's a better player than Boeser, but only returned pick 19 and a B prospect in Faber. To the right team, Boeser is probably worth a 2nd + B prospect or a late 1st. Personally, I'd be happy with something like Boeser for 2023 2nd (CHI) and a prospect (someone like Vlasic, Del Mastro, Phillips, or Dach). Could also do him straight up for one of the Tampa 1sts. I wouldn't expect too much more than that.
