Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

TOR: Robertson is clearly not playing for the Leafs. TOR picks up Heinen, who can play in a 3rd line role. They also add DOC, who is a young forward who has not really had a chance in PIT, and a 2nd round pick. PIT takes a chance on Robertson and adds depth in Simmonds.

CHI: Johnson is risky, as he has missed a lot of games in the past 2 years, and has been inconsistent when he has played, but he allows the Pens to move both the Kap and McGinn contracts. Chicago could use Kap in their top 6 and flip him at the next deadline.

I’m not sure why you would want Johnson, but I’m inclined to accept as the salary is more or less even and we are upgrading a 5th to a second.

When Robertson returns, he's likely traded in a package for a guy that can contribute in the top 6 or maybe even a top 4 D if it's next season.

I would take Johnson but only if Chicago retains… I think we could take out McGinn tbh…
Maybe kapanen plus a mid pick for Johnson 50% retained…
Get your reasoning but McGinn actually plays like he cares and he’s one of the only bottom-6 pieces we have that can score
Wayne Simmons is washed up, zero interest in him…
Robertson is worth a shot tho… if tor wanted Heinen or if we eventually move blueger
