The problem with a Brock Boeser trade is that it’s essentially a boom or bust outcome. And truthfully, the boom isn’t quite a boom to begin with - more like a loud knock at the door.

Boeser is a huge upgrade over Zadina when he's playing decent yes. But the thing is Detroit has alot of wingers and it's not really a need. There is the big cap hit as well. The only way Boeser makes sense, and I'm on board with taking a chance on him, is if Bertuzzi is traded. Also with how this situation is panning out, I don't think Boeser holds a ton of value.
