Tough guy and a 2023 first would be very hard to turn down from MTL but Xhekajs potential to be the next Revo is way to tempting to keep

You know what else improves the PK? Time.
Just wait for Landeskog and Helm to be healthy and return to the PK.

Theres not much point from the habs end to make that trade.

Arber is a 2019 draft class player and looking at that the bulk of the 25-40 picked players havent played regularly yet so he is ahead in development curve and would likely be a late 1st early 2nd in a redraft so all the trade does is move back the habs timeline by 3 years with a decent chance the pick amounting to less than what arber currently is

I don't think the first rounder should be in the conversation....yet. He'd be a great add but no. The PK won't be a problem as McRanteskog says given time. Far too much panic.

Colorado's Pick may end up being closer to a 2nd than a first. That and based on 'Wifi" being younger and a fan fave, he's not out of place on this team. I can't see this happening IMO.

Xhekaj is not going anywhere at the moment. Not even for a 1st round pick. His upside is way to high at the moment.

    > JS good on PK

If you think that then you haven't watched any Ducks game this season. 1) the Ducks PK is horrible, below 65% and have been torched for 1-3 PP goals against every game (to the likes of SEA and DET). 2) Silfverberg doesn't kill penalties any more even though the other options to send out are horrible.

Basically, Silfverberg is a shadow of what he was a few years ago and the only reason he's still playing is that he has a boat anchor of a contract. Double retention won't make him a good player.

Stats say last year he spent a lot of time on PK. The Avs PK currently sux.

The Avs are more than welcome to have him, that's addition by subtraction for the Ducks. I'm just giving you the disclaimer that it isn't going to help your PK.
