Makar is an on other planet to any D in the league. So 1 for 1 for Fox, maybe like Mcavoy instead

Shesterkin is far better than Sorokin but very few are close. The only player around Shesterkins age who compares is vasilevsky who makes almost 2x his contract

Thats totally fair i just went with Makar over McAvoy because his play style is closer to foxs but I see where your coming from

And even if I still believe in Lafreniere, I'm not considering Stutzle for Laf

I think Laf will break out and play better than Stüzle (although Stüzle will still be amazing) and Chabot is definitely better than Trouba but they arent that far apart and have very similar contracts

5. Kakko is better than Tippet.
6. Trenin is better than Blais
7. Chytil is bette Ethan Lundeström put it’s pretty similar.
8. Makar is better than Fox
9. Miller is way bette Ethan York lol
10. Chabot is way better than Trouba
11. Jones and Schneider are better than both of those guys.
12. Sorokin is not the same as Igor.
13. Elliot is better than Halak but again pretty similar.

Well, Chabot is more considered in the NHL Top-20 while Trouba is not really considered in the Top-50. There's a huge gap between them. This is more a true #1 vs a #2 D-man

Regarding Stutzle, I know excuses/reasons are used to explain Lafreniere's lack of production but those "reasons" also exist for Stutzle... First, he mostly played with 3rd liners so far... Connor Brown, Nick Paul, 22 y/ rookie Alex Formenton, reserve forward Adam Gaudette... Paul and Brown are deluxe 3rd liners but still not true top-6 forwards

And there's also this (note that Stutzle is 3 months younger too) :

Stutzle moved to center on November 24th : 51 pts in 63 games after that : 0.81 PPG

Turned 20 y/o on January 15th : 43 pts in 50 games after that : 0.86 PPG

After March 5th : 31 pts in 27 games : 1.15 PPG

He progressed a lot during the season... he looked like a PPG center down the stretch. He is going to be a beast




But anyway, appreciate the work in trying to find comparables... not always easy
