Fiala OS Deals
Is there room for Kakko with the wild? also Gallant has loved Kakko so far this year so I figure he will get a little more time before he's looked at as a trade piece especially with Kakko getting injured and missing a lot of time

TDL but not screwing the rebuild
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>aecliptic</b></div><div>Maybe see if Anaheim is interested in Chytil for Rakell. I would personally look for a RW we could resign, this gives us a cushion beneath Kakko. I think maybe Gallant needs to do with Kakko what he did with LAF and let him develop on the 3rd line. They were rushed far to soon to quickly. LAF now looks really good, I think Kakko could use some time with a little less weight on his shoulders. Id prefer to grab a pure rental for the LW slot, someone experienced like Jarnkrok.
The reason Im targeting a RW specifically is because Cuylle and Othmann are both LW (although Othmann can play on either side but he nor Cuylle should be rushed and should get their seasoning in the AHL). Then we have Blais, who played RW for us, but is a lefty and can probably play either side. I dont want to plug up the LW position with long term contracts.
So what youre potentially looking at for this year is:
Jarkrok, Barron, Rakell/Kakko/Hunt
Goodrow, Rooney, Reaves
Next year would be:
Goodrow, Barron, Rakell/Kakko
Blais, Rooney, Reaves</div></div>
I like the Rakell idea a lot and think its a good idea but just want to point out that Othmann and Cuylle can't play in the AHL, because of CHL rules its either NHL or CHL

I know you said that you know it probably won't happen but I really think the rangers hate that trade, Dvorak isn't exactly what the Rangers need and Othmann has been amazing and is the only 1st round pick the Drury has made so I doubt he opens him up for trade

Canucks can't be taking back cap with a Schenn trade. Better off trading a mid round pick (3rd-4th) and a small prospect piece.
Mrazek and Ritchie are cap dumps so you'll have to add value for a team to take them.
The value both ways for the Rangers trade is okay, but I don't think that's what the Rangers want in return, they'd probably be looking for a better player who can make immediate impact.</div></div>
Yeah i as for the rangers bit the value is fair but we already have a ton of LD prospects and it wouldn’t really help

I like the Stars trade. Curious to see what Stars fans feel about it.
Not sure if the last two are the most necessary but the San Jose one seems fair. Vegas is overpaying in their trade however.</div></div>
Yeah as for TOR trade i know they wouldnt work but they were just the first team who would want Nemeth that came to mind
And as for MTL trade i didnt see Hajek as the main piece and i think that a 2nd and Hajek is fair for Lehkonen
For VGK trade so many teams (ex Vegas, Edmonton, Colorado) need goalies and there aren’t that many on the block so i figure one will overpay like we see every TDL

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>C_M_O_R</b></div><div>Looking at the Rangers RHD roster, I’d think you could send off one of the prospects for a solid cup run. Trouba and Fox are locked up long term. You have Schneider, Lundkvist, and Skinner that will be ready fairly soon. Why not trade one plus a pick or something relevant to Dallas for Pavelski. Dallas is lacking RHD prospects and they will be trading Klingberg soon. Seems like a perfect match. “Captain America” on the Rangers.</div></div>
I'd be up for trading Skinner but I wouldn't be willing to give up Schneider or Lundkvist for a short rental especially since its the first year this group is in the playoffs and no guarantee they will go deep

then maybe a guy like Kravstov is best? former Gorton draft pick who has the potential to still be a great top 6 player

I dont see why the rangers would want Paquette and Barron has been very good in his short NHL showing this year and has provided the faceoff wins that the Rangers need badly
