Absolutely not overrating Byram. As The Rocket said above. Avs give up the best player and significantly add. Girard plus a first is a LOT closer than this. It isn't enough but it's sure as hell closer.

Byram>Suzuki objectively speaking. Byram is already top pair calibre and would be on any other team in the league besides Colorado. Literally I can’t think of a single team where byram wouldn’t be either the best Dman or 2nd best Dman on the team besides Colorado.

Even Calgary, Tampa, NYR, Carolina, etc. byram would be #2 at worst.

Suzuki is a 2C being paid as a one 1C
