Jets might not get top dollar for Dubois, but at least has to have some sort of path forward with a pick of some sort or ability to win the trade with some potential and team control.

If the Habs added Florida's 1st, their 2nd and a good prospect then maybe, really don't think the Jets are going to get a very good return for Petulant-Luc Douchebag.

I’m not expecting the world in a return. I just want the return to make sense lol. The jets need to figure out their direction going forward before making any trades. Which likely means they wait till the TDL to see where they are at. I’d they are out of playoff it’ll be sell for picks and prospects or younger players. If they’re making a stab at the playoffs they will keep Dubois and re-assess next year.

I’m hoping for a 1st of some sort and holding to that, and possibly a kid or two, maybe some cap mixed in. But better be a first even if it’s late or future.

A cap dump and a semi cap dump isn't what the Jets want.

If this offer was on the table there is a 0 percent chance Montreal decline

I think they would tbh
Rather send Dvorak + a bad contract + a good future asset and keep Anderson

Not sure the jets would want the term of anderson, he would have the most term on the whole team, probably put pressure to do something with scheifele and helly. Personally like anderson as an add and a player, but the end of that term might be some expensive 3/4 line minutes.

Montreal's cap dumps aren't as valuable as their fans think they are. Anderson costs assets for Montreal to move.

None of those were cap dumps. So more like how Montreal fans told us Domi was worth a couple firsts and an A prospect and found out he wasn't.

MTL received quality offers for Josh Anderson but the team don’t want to move him per Pierre LeBrun
So he can’t be a cap dump if he received quality offers and declined them
For Domi, he did 72 and 44 points with us, and Josh Anderson was so in demand even after a 1 goal season, that it cost Domi and a 3rd to get him
So Anderson value is really high, and MTL don’t want to move him, which makes is value even higher
So you can stop trolling saying he is a cap dump
Maybe you don’t like the player or the contract or maybe both, but he has value, and more than Ben Chiarot

I'm sure the "quality offers" Montreal received for Anderson were along the lines of Anderson + a 1st for a career AHL'er. Anderson isn't quite a cap dump yet, but will be by the end of the year if not sooner.

You're the realistic guy, try and practice what your name preaches and take off the red colored glasses.

I’ll trust the insiders saying MTL receive a **** load of calls for Josh Anderson but MTL like the player and don’t want to move him. Anderson score goals, he don’t have 25+ Goals seasons because he can’t stay healthy. But he still score goals, and does what a power forward do. GMs value that very high. You are the one who never watched him played, you only look at points and the AAV and you make an assumption on the player. Even when insiders says Anderson as good value, you still think in your opinion he is a cap dump lol you need to remove your glasses and face the truth
