Holloway is the most overrated player for Edmonton.

None of those players, except maybe Reilly and Morrissey are overrated

I would say Rielly is one of the most underrated Leafs actually. He gets a lot of flack, but he is very solid, great leader as well.

I would say Nylander is the most overated Leaf. I like him and he is good but he showed a lack of intensity when it mattered most this year in my mind.

Leafs is Sandin for sure.

5th-7th Dman who fans and media hype him to sound like a Top pair guy.

Everybody outside of Montreal knows Anderson sucks. Can’t be overrated when over half of fans know you’re not good.

Suzuki is a 2C masquerading as a 1C and everyone just goes along with it. Suzuki is much better than Anderson, but Suzuki is more overrated. He’s now overpaid and overplayed.

These are the same reasons why Norris, Rielly, Morrissey, and bouchard are all overrated. 2nd line/2nd pairing caliber players who are very good but play above their heads and everyone just goes with it. No one is challenging Rielly or Morrissey plying top pair minutes even though they would be far more succesful in 2nd pair roles. No one is cringing at Norris signing essentially 8 x 8 after shooting 21% for 66 games. No one is calling for bouchard to be moved to a more sheltered role even though it’s obvious he struggles to defend and his offensive chances dry right up when McDavid is on the bench.

These players are overrated BECAUSE everyone thinks they are better than they really are.

Lindholm is a great 1C. But he had no business being on the selke ballot this year

Horvat is a faceoff and pp specialist who plays a power forward style game, but the Vancouver market thinks he should be compared to hertl and coutourier in contract talks. Reality is he is a close comp for guys like trocheck and Copp.

I wouldn’t say Horvat is overrated. I barely hear anybody every talk about him

E what I’m getting at is guys like Anderson or nurse or scheifele aren’t overrated because there are both positive and negative narratives for this players. The ones I listed have generally very positive narratives

Josh Bailey, who is more than 4 years older, had a better record over last season and the last two seasons combined than Anderson. So did Alex Iafallo, Jesse Puljujarvi and Anthony Bouvillier, all of whom had a cap hit 25% or more lower. Frank Vatrano and Tomas Tatar had roughly equivalent two-year records, yet Habs guys keep telling us that Anderson was worth more than the 13th overall pick in this month's draft (which they say explains why the Islanders got "only" Alex Romanov for that pick).

Lindholm: I wouldn’t say he’s overrated everyone knows that before the offseason he was pretty much Tkachuk and Gaudreau’s sidekick I’d say Kylington is more overrated

Norris: He’s a little overrated but he’s mostly seen as the third best player on the team and I think that’s fair honestly to be fair there aren’t many overrated players on the sens.

Suzuki: I don’t see how he’s overrated Josh Anderson easily is more overrated

Horvat: I don’t see it anymore his declining stats are pretty well documented by now and I mean he’s still pretty good I would say Tyler Myers is overrated by their fans but just solely from my opinion I’d give it to Quinn Hughes sorry he’s not the better Hughes brother

Rielly: He is overrated by leafs fans especially during the trade rumours around him but to be fair 90% of the leafs roster is overrated by leafs fans but let’s face it Marner is the most overrated player on the team

Morrissey: Overpaid? Yes. Overrated? No. Like no one sees him as a top 25 defensemen anymore he’s mostly in the 30-35 range which is fair enough and let’s face it it’s Wheeler

Edmonton: Honestly I think Barrie is more overrated in terms of what oilers fans say he is compared to what he really is but in terms of my opinion I’d lean towards Holloway or Campbell
