So Cam bought his old house back in CLB, and apparently Johnny wanted to play on a line with Cam in Philly since they are friends.. so I’m wondering if Cam going back to CLB is possible

Either way, point remains - not enough roster spots, and not enough cap space, unless PHI wants Jake back…

It would have to be the same trade as last offseason to make the money work. Atkinson for Voracek. Otherwise the money is a lateral move and Columbus still needs to find cap space, but with less options.

Don't see there being any way to bring Cam in without downgrading the roster. He also wouldn't have a regular spot in the top 6 so I'm not sure how effective he could be in a 3rd line role.

As a Flyers fan, this idea was to help clear space in the future since Nyqvist is pretty similar in cap (bit cheaper) but only has one year

I want to be able to rebuild from the ground up and clear as much cap for prospects and picks as we can but I think Cam only approves going to CLB, I know they need to sign a big contract in PL, so if we took a bit back with another one year 2M or under contract it could be fine…

Either way I don’t think we land a first in this type of deal… I like Cam, but unless we retain I think the guy doesn’t bring in much in the picks and prospects
