We have 3 centers young center prospects that all are projecting at top-6 role and were each one of the best players in all CHL leagues.

We also have a couple of later round steals like Stranges and Damiani.

And we got a plenty of potential D-men in this year's draft, such as Bichsel, Kyrou and Feragas.

I think BUF and NJ have better prospect pools but the key difference is that DAL has got these assets while being consistently on the fight for playoffs, while the retooling guys have not been.

Reportedly Doug Wilson Jr who ran the scouting lead from 2017-2021 has slightly taken joint share with Burke back in for 2022 - could explain the differing reaches or slightly confusing picks.

I have no idea why Wilson Jr was given less control if that is true. He was by far no where near an issue for the organization and was a huge benefit. By no means was it a bad draft like many Sharks fans are screaming about but it adds some possible clarity.
