Why get Lawson Crouse in this trade when you can sign Evander Kane for $4M as a UFA and is a much bigger impact player. Get something else from Arizona maybe a 1st rd pick

That is really bad deal for Arizona, Three years of Chychrum, and two controllable years of Crouse is worth a lot more than 2 years of Nylander. As much as Leaf fan want to move his 5.6m Muzzin, doubt he waives his NTC to non playoff team.

Cancer or not - the compete argument goes out the window now that the Leafs lost in game 7 again and Edmonton is moving on

True dat. It's funny how "locker room cancer" is only a thing that the media brings up about players when a team is losing. Haven't heard a bad thing said about him so far in the playoffs with his 7 goals and 2 apples in 7 games tears of joy
