Then both respectfully decline. Can't justify sending the biggest bully in the league to a division rival.

With much respect to the OP - Montreal rejects. Again, value is 100% there, but to send a player as tough (literally) as beloved as Arber is to our biggest rival (and the same division no less), it's going to have to take a disgusting overpay. Timmy Lil is great though, awesome dman. Really like his game.

I'd say its pretty similar - I guess it depends if management is ready to move on.</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Kyle_Okposo_Lover</b></div><div>No from the islanders. Wahlstrom is better and younger.</div></div>
Ylonen is also a PKer. Wally is not.
Ylonen plays fourth line mins with Michael Pezzetta and Jake Evans. Wally has been given many a' opportunity with talented players, can't make it stick.

Fair, it isn't a shot at edmonton though. He's just an east coast guy, played junior in Montreal. His young family is rooted here. He has a pretty good thing going here too - no pressure, rebuilding team, splits starts with another good, young goalie.

Canadian menage a trois
Maybe I am an idiot but i think every team wins here and I love it.
Edmonton gets what they need. Riding a hot streak they get an upgrade in goaltending, a better defenceman, and monahan all while clearing cap. They can even flip Kulak from here, suddenly they're really comfortable with cap space and can run Bouch, Tanev and Ceci on the right side.
Calgary gets their first rounder back which is huge. They can re-tool and not have to worry about losing a lottery pick. They're not forced to do anything and can operate at their own pace. They get stuck with Anderson which sucks but they add a project in Lavoie and a really solid defenceman in Harris who can replace Kylington long term
Montreal gains a first this year as opposed to next, eats a bad deal in Soup but get two decent prospects to do it. Fair price. Not sold on Holloway or Bougault, but whatever - there's potential.
well done

The SDP guys quote it in their November 24th episode at about the 35:10 mark: CJ apparently poo-poos the idea of Allen going to Edmonton despite only having a 7 team list. I think it is fair to assume Allen would reject a trade to Edmonton

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Xspyrit</b></div><div>I know this will look like another "essay" but for the benefit of others who will be quoted in this ACGM and for the OP...
Joseph has 16 pts in 19 games and is +11 (highest on the team), Konecny has 18 pts in 24 games and is +8 (3rd on the team).
One year doesn't make a career but it's not really that, Joseph is a new player and his contract will be a bargain for 2 more years at 2.95 AAV while Konecny will only have 1 year at 5.5 AAV
Boucher is not nothing. He was taken too early for sure and has been injured more than half of the time since but he still has a bit of value considering draft position and pedigree, I'd say maybe a 4th
Konecny for Joseph is already not that enticing considering contracts but then 1st + 3rd + 4th on top of it. I would need to know what the Konecny extension is first. No way I'm doing this if he is a rental
Finally, not trading Joseph at all. My team needs MORE players like Joseph, not less. I'd be ready to give something that would look more interesting instead
1st in 2024 + Brannstrom + 2nd + 3rd</div></div>

Value is there for Montreal, and I would love to have Krebs. But I don't think they accept. Value is 100% there but Arber has missed the last 6 or 7 games and the Habs have been bullied in several of those games. He's more important to them than he is to anyone else imo.

Horvat was a 30g-60 point center who ran VAN special teams, he went for a 1st + prospect + cap dump
ROR was a 30g-70 point defensive center and earned Buffalo a 1st + faltering top prospect (at the time) + 2nd + two cap dumps.
You're not getting more than a 1st + prospect + prospect+ roster player for JEE unless you're taking cap back, and even then the cap market isn't as tight as it was one or two seasons ago.</div></div>
bro ror and horvat were pending UFAs lmfao. JEE has 6 years left on his deal at one of the best cap hits in the entire league. u good?
edit: kesler got deal like what? 10 years ago? and retired 4 years ago? cool
