Aside from the fact that Vancouver doesn’t have any goaltenders to replace Demko with, I’m still pretty sure they have to add for this trade to go through.

I would prefer go have Demko. Top 10 in this draft is pretty interchangeable IMO. None of the projected top few picks really stand out as being far ahead of guys like kemell, Lambert, geekie etc who are projected to go a bit further back.

I know people within the Canucks organization. They’re not tanking next season, they’re not moving a franchise calibre goaltender for a pick. It’s the exact opposite of what they’re trying to do
