Outside of Chabot, Stutzle and Brady Tkachuk you've nothing that would entice us to move Mo Seider. If you want Seider then you need to include one of those 3.

I don't think the offer is as ridiculous as Wings fans will suggest (22 year old 1C + nhl ready RHD prospect with top 4 upside + top 9 pick) but you have Mo Seider you simply keep Mo Seider. Would have loved to see him in Ottawa with Stützle though.

Sorry but Seider is a building block, like Hedman, Doughty, Seabrook or Keith. Now is he as good as these players, no, but it has been one year, but he is a favorite for the Calder and he has a very high ceiling. It just does not make sense for Wings to trade him, whether the deal is good or not. Now a number 1 center is a need, yes, but Seider has the marking s of a stud defenseman who could play for 10 to 12 years.
