At the same time - If we get Shane Wright... do we really need PLD?

I rather have Suzuki and Wright at center + Ghule as our top LHD with Romanov and Harris.

At the same time, if we pick third... we can select Nemec without any afterthought with PLD and Suzuki down the middle.

Rather just keep Dvorak and the assets that almost ensure a better shot at Bedard in 2023 then upgrade to PLD

I think Guhle is going to be a monster; it would be tough to trade him.

I know that he (Dubois) is a fracophone and that being fracophone is legit important to the community, organization and fan base (totally respect this), but I just see them having different needs. Dubois is obviously talented, but he does come with baggage and he isn't a right-shot defenseman. Finally: Dvorak did not have that bad of a season, and was dynimite in the face-off circle. While he's not a second line center, he would make a great third-line option; I would wait and see what happens at the draft lottery before deciding on Dubois. (that's just my opinion, though).

entirely agree here. if we get wright, don't do the dubois trade. thats not even a question to me. best case scenario tho imo is select nemec at 3, trade for dubois, and be set. that would make for a nice future

Question becomes who's gonna fall off in the Atlantic. TBL, TOR, BOS, FLA are the playoff teams this season. Tampa is losing assets fast, Boston's guys are getting older and older. Maybe if the roster has its holes filled we could be a legit contender. I doubt MTL finishes last AGAIN honestly, the talent is there.

Totally agree. I have no issue moving Dvorak: I was just illustrating that acquiring Dubois is not necessariy a necessity, that's all.

The Jets aren't moving Dubois, but if they were an average 3C, a decent but unneeded LD as well as a late first and second aren't close to getting it done.

They could move Mailloux or Harris too if they end up with Nemec and wanted to keep Guhle.

i dunno what they do with mailloux considering what he's done, and i dont really want to move harris especially since hughes got him to sign

Jets don't really need LHD but getting Guhle would be pretty awesome.

Everyone wants to trade Dvorak... 15 points in his last 18 games... 56.6 faceoff percentage. He's looking like he's really coming into his own under MSL. Give him another year before you give up on him. He might surprise you.
