i still think that was more attributable to the leafs shoddy defense. i still can see the replay of debrusk toasting gardiner lmao. only so much freddie could do, carolina is a much better defensively structured team.

I had the same thought. Would still roll with Rittich for Game 1 if Saros is hurt, but if he loses that one (or at max the first two), put Ingram in net. He's looked pretty decent albeit in (very) limited action, and it has the side benefit of sparking the team.

They’ve got Rittich going tonight against COL and Ingram closing out the season against ARI.

If Rittich is brutal tonight and Ingram has a good game against ARI, I could definitely see Connor getting game 1.
