Just my thought. If Matthew Tkachuk doesn't sign an extension in Calgary, Blues will be looking at him as a UFA signing in summer of 2023. So Tarensko and ROR both with 7.5m contracts coming off the books, very doable for the Blues

Even $3.5m is high for him. He’s not a proven starter and he has very limited experience and no playoff experience. That doesn’t get $5m a year. He’s had a hot start, but if you’re throwing at $5m that better be for a legit starter or that’s gonna backfire real quick

Definitely low on your price for all of these FAs Perron will probably sign for 4M again, maybe like 3.5, which is a discount to stay. The oilers, buffalo, devils, and several others would be able to give Husso more money. According to Pierre LeBrun he has priced himself out of STL. I like the idea of Provorov but he's definitely gonna cost more than that to acquire. Definitely think we should sell high on barby tho, way to many people to resign in 2023 offseason. Just don't think we have room for him.

Barbahsev will never have a better year in his career. His underlying metrics shows his numbers are not sustainable and he's benefitted greatly with having great people all around him. If Philly jumps on this, Blues would be stupid to not agree to a 1 for 1 Provy swap.
