Love the Miller trade

I would pick between the Stastny and Toffoli trade. That bang for the buck on Tyler Foli (as Don would call him) would be unreal, I'm happy forking that up, If it would cost Newhook though, I'll do the Stastny trade instead. Always love the idea of him coming back.

Helleson is a oustanding rhd prospect. The kids made the Olympics roster, great skater with size, good stick, good positioning. Defend extremely well. Will have a bring futur in the NHL.

It's a pretty good package, both Jost and Helleson fill positions of need.

Helleson is interesting, but I still think that we could get more elsewhere... or just keep Toffoli

What kind of return you expect? You wont get much better then that. Sure is contract is nice ans he can play the game but he isn’t a elite player.

I'm probably in the minority here but the Habs can keep Toffoli if that's the cost. The Stastny trade is fine, same with Miller. On the whole though not a bad job.

Buffalo probably pass, we don't need Murray and we could probably get 2nd for Miller.

Fair comment imo. Murray doesn't hurt at all, but he also doesn't add any value, so the asking price of a 2nd should remain.

I kinda like the Toffoli trade but wonder if he's the right guy. That package might land a Hertl or Giroux. And while the contract value isn't there for multiple years on either guy, I still wonder if that's a better play for a team that's going for it this year.

That Stastny trade I'd do if Winnipeg would go for it. It would be fun to see him back in Colorado, and he adds some elements this team could use.

I think it's a solid package to get Girouux or Hertl.
