Bobcat’s Post Game Notes, Game 30

Jackets lose 7-4 against the Carolina Hurricanes.

-This is not a good way to start the new year. IT WAS 4-0. It’s like we just give up entirely when the team we’re playing against put up the smallest bit of opposition.

-Both of our goalies had to leave for injuries. Considering the record for EBUGs in the NHL, we probably could have won had we put in whoever was going in in case of emergency.

-Things got so bad during the 3rd period that the only thing that the Twitter account posted between the 4-3 goal and the end of the game was THE WINNING 50/50 RAFFLE TICKET. That’s how bad it got.

-In better news, those first four goals looked good. Had we kept our foot on the gas we could have really won this.

Jordan Binnington, an NHL goalie, has 14 penalty minutes this season. 12 for being a baby (10 for swinging his stick at Kadri, 2 for tossing his helmet in the direction of a ref in frustration), and 2 just now for tripping.

Despite the loose Covid rules in Florida, the Panthers still sit bottom 10 in attendance.

I wish they had the attendance/energy in the regular season as they did in the playoffs because they are a great fun team to watch

I’m currently in Florida for lacrosse. I’ve been to universal and I’ve seen 6 Tampa fans 2 Bruins fans 2 Hurricanes fans 1 devils fan, me as a capitals fan, and one Senators fan. No panther fans.

If they kept that name their goal song could have been "Raining Sunshine"
