I believe only the players jerseys will have ads. Jerseys bought from the store will not have ads on them. That's the case rn with NBA jerseys. Unless you buy a game worn jersey you should be fine

Highly doubt Matthews would get it again since he was just on it in NHL 20. The only players that have been featured in two covers were Toews (11 and 16) and Ovechkin (07 and 21). Pretty solid gap between both of their appearances.

He would definitely be deserving of it if he wasn't on the cover 2 years ago, though.

I don't mind them for the fact they bring in more money which can allow the league to start increasing the cap. As long as its not Liiga style I'm good.

The Canadian cover could have Crosby on the left, Mcdavid in the middle and Mackinnon on the right
The USA cover could have Gaudreau on the left, Matthews in the middle and Kane on the right
Then for Russia Ovie on the left, Malkin at center, Kucherov on the right
