It's a very Marchessault esque situation. Play ok-ish as a bottom-6 player in Tampa, then sign with Florida and start completely flourish just before the expansion draft...

Killorn is playing fine hockey right now. Cap willing, I'd like to keep him around at least until Stamkos' contract is up. We'll have to enter somewhat of a reload time anyway around then. I don't see Stamkos' scoring production aging like Ovi's.

I think Barre Boulet will be a top 6 winger, Raddysh will probably replace Coleman. TB scouting is great, their coaches at the AHL level are obviously doing something right, and im a big fan of how cooper handles young players. It seems like he's always trying to boost their confidence, I saw he had barre boulet on the 1st line this season.

I agree theyre going to get out of it - even if they give up a 1st theyre fine. They have two #1 centers and a #1 D under the age of 25 , Kucherov is only 27.

He wasn't qualified because he had arbitration rights. We could have given him the contract he got from Florida, but he'd be a 4th line player as opposed to playing with Barkov.

it's weird because TB has a great analytics department - Their director of analytics Michael Peterson is one of the best analytics guys in the league.

Don't sleep on Katchouk. I watched quite a bit of the Crunch this year and I thought Katchouk looked better than Raddysh. Somppi I think could very easily have a breakout year like Colton when he gets his chance.

Yeah, adding him to makes Killer, Palat, Gourde/Goodrow/Coleman seem more expendable in the future. (BB, Raddysh, Boris all can contend for roster spots).

The Syracuse Crunch coach apparently always preaches the way to get a call-up and succeed in the NHL (with Tampa) is to play like Gourde. I think Katchouk/Raddysh would nicely (relatively) replace Goodrow/Coleman assuming we can't keep either.

Girard is -4 tonight. He's looked dazed and confused. Avs bottom 4 D have been terrible this series. All I can think about is what a big difference a healthy EJ could've made. The difference in this series was turnovers by D and blown coverages.
