He was the hardest to decide, but I think he has the potential to be one step over those in tier two in my opinion.

Idk, maybe if he were having a rookie season like Cale Makar's then I would put him there. But that's not what he's given us

New York’s and David Quinn’s system isn’t doing him any favors

I agree. Think he's gonna be the best player of the draft class

Why is Lafreniere in a tier of his own? I don't think he is so far ahead of a guy like Stützle or possibly Cozens in terms of upside.

The lack of playing time is hurting him, but our system has had multiple successes. Pavel Buchnevich, Adam Fox, Tony DeAngelo (before he went insane), Filip Chytil, Igor Shesterkin, now K'Andre Miller. It's just that Lafreniere and Kaapo Kakko weren't as ready as our coaches hoped they'd be

It might not be clear right now but I think he’ll be considerably better in their prime.

Forgot Ian Mitchell.
I got tired after 30 rookies, totally forgot Zegras as I sorted them by points before ranking them.

IDK I don't really see him entering that top tier of NHL talent. To me he's closer to the Taylor Hall level of Winger than a Panarin or Stone. He might have the highest upside of anyone on this list, and there's a good shot of him being the best player on this list, but I don't think there's such a huge gap for him to be on his own level.

Like I said earlier, I didn't want to spend too much time on this, so there are omissions

Anderson will always be underrated IMO. One, he isn’t flashy Two he’s on west coast. Very solid so far though playing top 4 minutes. Makes some rookie mistakes but solid. He reminds me of a Greene/Mitchell type. Maybe not as mean... yet
