Reinhart will prob cost more than that and would most likely be an offseason move, but, if he ends up being available, I’d love him on the isles so so much

In my opinion the last thing the Islanders need is another RFA to sign with 3 (4 if you include Dal Colle) already wanting big raises and then there's Cizikas to re-sign with very limited cap space. I can see another Toews situation creeping up where one of those RFA's is gone, Cizikas is gone or possibly both.

I don't see the Islanders making a big trade at the deadline. Realistically it will probably be a smaller trade for a depth D-Man.

I’d make that trade in the offseason if we have enough cap room once we get our RFAs signed. Two problems though, it’s gonna be tough to get under the cap once we sign beau and pelech with the cap once again not rising and I don’t think Buffalo would make that deal we’d have to give up a top prospect and I wouldn’t do that and I doubt the isles do it plus Buffalo could probably get a better deal than the one above.
