I'm glad Ruff keeps playing young guys consistently even when they make mistakes. It was always puzzling to see Hynes sit guys Bratt or Zacha after a bad game (or even a good game), instead of just letting them play through it and learn.

The only think I want Ruff to do now is try to get Yegor more involved. He played great when he got a bunch of ice time but hasn't made an impact in his limited role

Looked like the biggest errors for NJ tonight were all from the veterans... I thought Vatanen, Kulikov, Subban & Murray were all horrible to poor. Uncharacteristically, Zajac's late high stick also put the game at risk. It was all the youth driving positive play tonight.

Zacha looked great. Always had another notch on his offense when on the wing.

It's crazy what happens when he gets let out of Hynes' dungeon in the basement of the Prudential Center. I can't wait to see what happens when he gets his shot off quicker.
