Go for a real 1C otherwise stick with Bergeron, Coyle, Studnicka.

Nathan MacKinnon was just on Spittin’ Chicklets and stated that Phil Danault is one the hardest players to play against. Super underrated.

I think Danault would be a real solid add.

Congrats to nick ritchie on playing like a competent NHLer for a week. Giving him 5 years is insane.

Yes, but he is more of 2C. And NHL players think Price is the best G in the league and Burns/Doughty are top5 D in the league, take it with a grain of salt.

If Danault signs with Boston, he's now an enemy of the state, in his home province.

That wouldn’t be fun. Especially because we’d be back in the Atlantic division together.

Even if he were a 2C, why would you not want to sign him when you have $15 million in cap space. Unless you want to start the rebuild/retool?

    Edit: Shortcuts, lol.

I have him listed here as a 2C. $6 million is fair for that. 1C as a UFA would cost $9 million + I think.

I would say that with all that cap space, just throw 7x7.5 at RNH.

I have “ROS” as a shortcut in my phone, so I guess I mis-typed and ended up with “The Rise of Skywalker” instead of “to”. 😂

Not sure I’d want RNH over PD. Maybe. I have a feeling that he signs with Seattle.

That's the thing. Bruins need a 1C when Bergeron will regress. Not 3 2Cs. Otherwise, just go with the internal options.

As a Ducks fan, it's nice to see Ritchie playing well...as someone who has been hyped up about these short sample sizes from here where he looks dandy though...beware...

I’m a huge Star Wars fan, so I have shortcuts for all the movie names in my phone. I like making lists a lot so yeah. I also have shortcuts for the name of every player in Montréal’s organization, and the name of every NHL team.

That’s fair. I enjoy pretty much all Star Wars content, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Some of the foundational choices in the story (ie. Rey’s lineage, how Palpatine’s return relates to Plagueis) I wouldn’t have made if I was writing the movie, but if I just accept that I think the execution of everything is pretty great.

I wasn’t that annoyed about 7. It was a horrible movie but they didn’t really mess with the old ones. Then Disney just took a dump on Lucas, and did their very best to ruin the old ones. They were just soo sooo bad at writing characters.
