anti leafs and matthews bias is real, 3 guys who havent played an nhl game over a guy whos paced 40 goals every year in his career and is growing his 2 way game more and more every year
Ignore him, he kept tryna tell me that Drai didnt play with McDavid whereas if you look at the actual stats/facts they played together 72.1% of the time (5on5 and Powerplay)
You could also look at the fact that when Drai was finally given his own line, he had 33 points in the final 21 games of the season last year. Maybe, and I know, this is crazy, he's just a really good player whether he plays with McDavid or not? But I know, that's a wild thing to say.

Plus 3 other guys ahead of him has inferior same age seasons. The anti leaf sentiment can't be argued.
I'd be surprised if Kaprizov is considered one of the best wingers in the league in 5 years. Seems like a great number of people have already pegged him as another Panarin.
lol exactly, not worth it, people arent ready for that conversation
Mackinnon had 53 points in 82 games in his 4th season, Matthews had 80 points in 70 games. Mackinnon 16 goals in 82 games, Matthews had 47 in 70. But hey, we're just Leaf homers for believing in our stars anyways.

Look at how many of those were on the Power Play (with Mcdavid he played 95.2% of the time on the PP)
Also yeah

Lmao you really reported me.
And they gave me an infraction saying I should "use stats" I literally used stats. Whats wrong with this website lmaooooo
lmaoooo I have been proven right and reported despite using facts
@cd282 btw I was never banned lmaooooo so thats also wrong. Me and a number of others like Catmanv and Jesus left because of people like you and Bcarlo25 who make this website unbearable.

He was actually given his own line on December 31st, so the final 30 games. Here are the stats from that timespan.

Well of course they play together on the PP. That's what teams do, put all their best players on the PP, so they can score the most goals possible. Worked out pretty well for the Oilers as a team didn't it.
I stand corrected from before it was the final 30 games or so that Drai centered his own line at 5v5. He had 18 PP points, and 31 EV points in those 30 games. 3rd most EV points over that span behind Kucherov and Panarin , and yes, tied for the most PP points with Zibanejad.
So he performs well at both EV and PP for points. Love that.
oooops I looked at the wrong month to start the totals. Okay so it was 49 points in 30 games.
Yup. The clear #1 in the NHL. McDavid missed almost 25% of those games and played on a different line at 5v5 when he was there, so that's a flaccid argument.
Unforunately, with this guy and Bcarlo25, they continue to bad mouth me even when I am not interacting with them, so I need to be able to see when I have to defend myself
It sucks that people like them exist, but they do. So good people like you and me need to do our thing

As if on queue, Drai proved me right yet again:
Last nights statline - Drai 0 goals and 4 assists.
2 of those assists were on the same line as McDavid, and the other 2? on the same Powerplay unit as McDavid
AGAIN: I AM NOT SAYING HE IS BAD!!! But stop overrating him and claiming he doesnt get help from Mcdavid when literally every sign points to that
AGAIN: NOT SAYING HE RELYS ON MCDAVID, but his stats are much higher because of Mcdavid and thats what you keep denying

Not denying he and McDavid boost each other. They BOTH get help form each other when they see the ice together on the PP, and any other time like when mid-change last night I guess. I'd just say he's a top 10 player playing with McDavid, and he's a top 10 player playing without him, and is only 25 and not slowing down soon. But just my view, obviously I have a bias as an Oilers fan.
Also using one game to justify your conclusions is a bit *sketchy* when it comes to proving a statistical point, just for future reference.
