Price for Robertson

Description
I'd like to see Stars unite the Robertson bros. Feel like they'd be absolutely terrific.

Question is, how much does Nick Robertson cost? I know that some Leafs fans think he's the best prospect in hockey, so I'm not making this question for Leafs fans only...just interested in how people in general view his value.

He's the Leafs best forward prospect and probably top 10-15 or so (for forwards) pre draft. He was a goal per game in junior and looked NHL ready but not ready to dominate in his brief NHL play.

So he should be valued like a high but not super high 1st

I think it’s too soon to find a fair value.
Besides Leafs fans will probably ask for something stupid like Gurianov, Hintz, and a 1st.

Alright. So if DAL were to negotiate of his price, I'd expect Dellandrea+something to be the price. What should that something be? What are the Leafs' needs.

How long until a leafs fan say " Heiskanen "

But seriously, I don't think TOR wants to move him. If he plays in NHL next year, they have a middle-6er at $822K for 3 more years

There are sane Leafs fans on this website, thankfully. It's just so annoying that most of the trolls are disguised in Leafs fan.

Honestly idk. Prospects don’t really get traded unless they’re in a package. I can’t really remember a trade of one prospect for a lesser prospect + something.

If toronto was worried about future center depth I would say Dellandrea, similar situation with Harley. Oettinger might be of interest

I thought of something like Dellandrea+Honka+2nd or something like that...would fit to their needs the best imo in this hypothetical scenario.

I'd be down, but considering Leafs LHD depth I don't see the need for Harley in there. Think Dellandrea is the prospect we'll start with...

Just like J.Bracco was!! Lol. I don’t think they trade him unless they look like they can make a deep run into the play-off last and have a legit cup chance. Then they would deal him for “help now assets”.

If that’s not that case, then they just keep him. No reason to develop a prospect and then trade him for another prospect b4 you see any benefits. He would only be moved in the that one situation. Or they are having a really good season and looks like a deep play-off team and someone gets a Major injury. Like a goalie or Reilly, or JT or Marner.

Again, they would trade him for “help now assets”. Something like Klinberg, depending on the injury or where they felt they were the weakest at. Probably RHD though. Robertson and a pick for Klinberg. And Dallas would have to be out of contention and selling too. Looking for a bit of a younger core rebuild.
