That would be nice. Really like that forward group from top to bottom. IMO the opportunity is for sure there for Duclair to get a good shot at running with 97 or 29. Im sure he;s kicking himself over not taking the reported offer he got from Ottawa. If this is in his price point, I'd for sure be interested. That second year at a discount would favour the Oilers too.

Yeah i think it's probily a little low on salary. He's a 20 goal scorer most seasons on average at best teams so putting him beside a top center he would probily be able to increase that to 30 on a good year. At this point i don't see anyone paying him 5 mil but if you give him around 3mil for 1 year he would probily take it to play some playoff hockey

I love this lineup.

I'm not a fan of sticking Neal and Turris together -- I think they're just both too slow and will bring that line down. But I think they would both look good on a PP2 unit together.

You aren't wrong about Duclair. People look at his goals and go nuts - but Edmonton already made that mistake with Athanasiou.

I don't agree with your assessment of Puljujarvi, he and McDavid have a short - but very positive - history together.

Kahun is a good player and will probably play well there but he's a middle 6 winger.
