thats even worse value for the canucks, byron is coming off a 4 goal season and makes 2.5 million. The point of a boes trade would be to move out as much cap as possible to resign hughes and petterson. Taking back another bad cap hit is bad business.

Huge overpay for Zadorov and huge underpay for Ehlers and Boeser (and I absolutely love Gallagher, which should tell you what I think of Boeser's talent).

IMO the Avs trade is not what the Habs need. The value may be fair but the need is a 1 LHD not a 2 or 3 LHD we have a plethora of them.
