Probably but it's still a really bad idea for TO. Nylander is untouchable. Especially now that Kap is gone. They need his offense. Trading him for a mediocre slower defensive defenceman (sorry, I am not a fan of Manson but I respect your opinions and words my friend) and futures for an elite offensive player right now is a mistake

Agree 100%. I just wanted to point out how bad those two offers are. The thought that you would trade Nylander for Subban as the primary element, or include the 43rd overall pick in order to get Klingberg, is cuckoo. Nylander is Parayko/Pesce quality, but it would still be a bad idea now that Kapanen is gone. I think that today's trade proves that the Big Four are staying together for another season at least.

P.S. Not that I'm suggesting that those two moves would be one-for-one.
