Its a cracking name...I dont mind it as it relates to their city/history...not bad imo

The name screams high school to me, you get your North American College dumb names to like the Blue Hose, Purple Pounders, School of Deaf Leopards, Midgets, etc. but Kraken this is the NHL, not peewee hockey.

I really hate the name, but I think they did a pretty good job with it. The logo is simple, and the Jerseys are good. I still think the Sockeyes would have been better.

I'm happier with it than I was with the "Golden Knights" when it came out. Love how simple the logo is. There's huge potential to have some amazing 3rd jerseys and alternate logos.

One of my best friends is a graphic designer/comic book artist, and I'm absolutely going to get him to sketch something Kracken related up.

That would be really cool. They have soo much potential with what they can do with it. I’d like them to advertise a contest for fans to summit draws and then vote on which will be third jersey. Would be amazing way to get fan base more involved and fun to see results I bet their will would be a lot of very creative amazing designs. The name provides a lot to work with in a design.

So sick. Love everything about it. Cultural significance: First mention of the mythical kraken was in a Seattle newspaper in 1800s. So cool. As intimidating and fun as a team name could be. Anyone who doesn't like it hates fun.
