Leafs consider Liljegren pretty much untouchable. This is not based on me only, this is what Bob McKenzie said a couple months ago. So unless there is overpayment for him, they are not going to trade him. Keefe absolutely loves the guy and Dubas believes in him.

It seems to me that some form of Kapanen for Severson would be a natural. New Jersey only have Kyle Palmieri and Joseph Anderson under contract at RW for next season, and no one in the system who's close to NHL-ready.

I don't like it because I really don't think Severson is a good player. And I think what he is best at is not what the Leafs need.
