  1. Choix de 3e ronde en 2021 (MIN)
Détails additionnels:
The Wild desperately need a goalie as they likely would have been very good without league worst goaltending. Allen is cheap to acquire and likely gets paid less than Lehner/Holtby and just had a fantastic season.

STL
  1. Choix de 5e ronde en 2020 (BUF)
Détails additionnels:
Buffalo gets a good middle six center to help fix their center depth who is still capable of playing the second line along with getting the higher draft pick in a future draft.

Stars need some help on the left side and Gunnarson is solid 3rd pairing option, to acquire for essentially nothing.

Détails additionnels:
Bortuzzo helps with the Jets need for right handed defenseman. He is only a third pairing player, however he is inexpensive to acquire and doesn't have a prohibitive cap hit.

No thanks, you can keep Bortuzzo, would consider that Bozak trade though.

Why would Bozak want to play in Buffalo? Like I can see some wingers waiving to play with Eichel, but Bozak wouldn’t leave a cup contender for a mediocre team.

Red Wings trade looks good from our perspective. I’d accept assuming it’s one of our top offers

I think Wild probably except. They have Kahkonen coming up but probably not the best idea to throw a rookie in the fire without a backup plan.

I bet NSH would take that Gunnarsson deal since you seem willing to trade intra-division

Confused their left and right sides. However I still think the trade makes some sense. Gunnarsson is arguably better than Oleksiak, and both of them would provide solid depth as Harley is likely still a year or two away from the NHL.

Honestly, didn't think about Nashville. However, Nashville probably makes more sense than Dallas as a third pairing/depth LHD seems to be a need more of need for Nashville.

Not enough for the Sabres to take your Cap dump,
who should also not be anywhere near 2C at this point in his career

And I’m sure Buffalo is on his list of 10 teams not to go to

Bozak only has a 10 team no trade clause, and while he likely would not want to play for a mediocre team, he would probably end up one anyways. Buffalo makes sense because they weren't too far out the playoff hunt this year and Bozak would get an increased role, which could help him earn one more pretty sizable NHL contract, instead of close to league minimum.

Bozak might not put up points, however he is still a very good two way player that can play on the penalty kill. His puck possession numbers are still quite good and he was still playing 15 min a night for a cup contending blues team. The no trade clause is still a question however I think if given a chance for a bigger role he might take it, so as to increase his chances of getting another multi-year deal after 2021.

He’d be a very last resort type guy for the Sabres to consider on the 2C role
And with us trying to cut out unnecessary payroll,
we’d probably be more likely just to slot Cozens into that spot & try to shelter him

It’s doubtful imo

I like where you head is at but I don’t think the Wild will take Allen because they have 3 goalies rn in Dubnyk, Stalock, and Kahkonen

I agree but I would rather have the 2020 1st or the 2022 1st.

Harley almost made the roster out of camp this season. He will be on the NHL roster next season, and even if something crazy happens like he shreds his ACL in camp (knock on wood) and isn’t on the NHL roster, Dallas still has Lindell, Heiskanen, and Oleksiak (who is better than Gunnarsson) on the NHL roster with Heatherington, Bayreuther, and Gleason in the AHL that are all capable of bottom-pair LD minutes.

Value is fine for Gunnarsson, but Dallas won’t be the team on the other end of the deal.
