If we think georgiev is really a starter in this league then you have to consider it.

For the last time we don't need DeAngelo we will already have Hronek and Seider in our top 4 at RD. And fat chance Mantha wastes his time on a 1 year $4 million garbage offer. Even if he were to agree to a 1 year deal it's still going to be closer to $5 million if not $5.5 million. DeAngelo would be an expensive 3rd line RD because he's not getting top 4 minutes in Detroit over Hronek and Seider we can just draft Jamie Drysdale as well. And fat chance of New York getting Quinton Byfield not even remotely happening.

If DET would accept, I'd be all over this move for Mantha.

I really like d'angelo. Hes not the perfect fit I wish he was a ld but hes so good.

Yzerman would never accept this trade, We don't need DeAngelo and he'd cost us at least 5 years $27.5 million to sign. With Hronek Seider in our future top 4 DeAngelo would be a very expensive acquisition.

That is nowhere near close to value for Mantha, for so many reasons.
The short version is that he is one of only 2 shooters on the redwings who could even have close to an elite shot. The long answer is that Detroit are rebuilding, so its picks and prospects...

Rangers would decline Deangelo str8 up for Mantha but leave it to you to add Georgiev + 2nd rounder + 3rd rounder as well
