the minnesota trade is terrible
the anderson trade is dependent on whether or not anderson can bounce back from injury
and the anaheim trade is the most realistic one

In all fairness, leafs fans did compare Sandin and are doing the same with Robertson.

What kind of answer is that. How is anyone supposed to know if he bounces back. If he is a 30 goal score again than yes it is great, if he is a 10 goal score then crap. They way this site works is Paul is the leafs Gm and he came up with this, you can be the Wild's GM and say why you like it or not. Dependent lol. Wild trade terrible for who? I think it is very close.

I already know it's a huge overpayment. The way the last two trades went they're probably only getting a 4th and a 6th, the leafs might even have to throw in a 2nd to make it "even"

Kapritzov isnt even a year younger than Nylander, who already has 2x 20 goal, 60 point seasons on top of 31 goals and 59 points in a shortened season this year in the NHL. They arnt remotely close in value

well... Kaprizov was drafted a year later than Nylander so hes younger and he's over ppg in the KHL considered one of the best players there. NHL is better obviously.. adding everything together stats, age etc... i'll go with nylander but the wild also absorb 6 mill in cap space for the next 2 years while toronto sheds 6 mill cap space at least 2 years for a player potentially as good

btw i look at value when i do trades, their stats, age, contract etc.. if u ask whos better i say Nylander but also even, value wise

I think that Wild trade is bad for both teams. Kaprizov is worth more to the Wild than to any team in a trade.

CBJ accepts, but Josh Anderson wants to get paid so I don't know if the Leafs have the cap space to pay him what he wants.

nope, Leafs dont need tyson Barrie 2.0 "this time he throws a hit or four" at 6 million. The only players the wild have on their that the leafs should be interested in are Brodin and Spurgeon.

wellll he's, like i said, not even a year younger and Nylander actually scores in the NHL. KHL scoring numbers rarely ever translate as close, let alone breaking even. And cap space is only good if you use it on good players, ideally on good contracts, like Nylander.

Well If You are the GM, what do you value Kaprizov at. Because I value him very very high and I am an OIlers fan. So is he worth a 7th round pick to you because it doesn't translate to the NHL?

If i were to put a generic every team label on it I'd say he'd be worth a mid to late 1st and a good B'ish level prospect. Like a guy guarenteed to be an NHLer with a pretty good shot at being say a middle 6 winger.

The translating of points thing simply means you dont trade a guy who produces well at the NHL level for a guy who maybe might could one day produce that well at the NHL level, especially when they are both similar ages

Lol Ahahaha that evaluation Is a joke. What do you think Robertson’s value is who also never played in the nhl. A 2nd round pick?

A late 1st, i think you're missing the point that thisis value in a vacuum and it's these players arnt not valuable, they just arnt very valuable as trade chips for established, young, good nhlers. so there isn't a reason for the teams that have them to trade them for anything but an over pay. And the leafs, for example, don't have a reason to iver pay.

thats where the gm comes in... if he cant use that cap correctly u have other issues.. Kaz is good... only 22 years old and one of the best players if not the best in the second best league in the world, no matter how hard i try i cant see that not translating
